XYMBOT team wants to use the occasion to wish our community a Happy New Year and an even better year ahead!

Furthermore, we would like to reflect on our accomplishments in the past year and share our plans and goals for the coming year.

In 2022, XYMBOT consolidated and expanded the RFID-based (Radio Frequency IDentification) solutions in the Spanish Industrial market. During this period, the deployment of RFID-based secure edge service was concluded in the manufacturing shopfloor Talleres Electromecánicos Laureano Pinazo S.A. (electrical components manufacturer) in Madrid. Besides, two new customers were added to the portfolio in 2022: Focke Meler Gluing Solutions S.A. (gluing equipment manufacturing & assembly company) in Navarra and IAC Group (car part manufacturer) in La Rioja.

The commitment to European and National projects was another relevant aspect for XYMBOT in 2022. As SMEs, we have the pleasure to be selected and funded by four European projects (Kyklos 4.0, SHOP4CF, Urban Tech, and TraS4MErs) and one national (Activa Startup) in 2022 to scale up the data-driven businesses’ traceability, transparency, and trust to the next level for the European Industrial market.

Finally, new co-creation and business opportunities arise with the R&D agreement with Hitachi Europe Autonomy and Circularity division to develop the future of Digital Lifecycle Passport and Digital Twin technologies for cross-domain industrial and services applications in the coming years.

To conclude, we would like to highlight the potential of Digital Lifecycle Passport (DLP) to transform data and AI-driven businesses’ traceability, transparency, and trust in the end-to-end circular supply chain to a wide range of industries and contexts, including supply chain management, manufacturing, retail, and more. Some potential applications of digital lifecycle passports include:

  • Supply chain management: DLP tracks the origin, materials, production, and distribution of products throughout the supply chain, improving the traceability, quality, and sustainability of products, as well as reducing the risk of counterfeiting and fraud.
  • Manufacturing: DLP verifies the materials, production, and quality control processes used in manufacturing processes, improving the quality and reliability of products, and enabling organizations to identify and address any issues or improvements more easily.
  • Retail: DLP provides consumers with access to transparent and verifiable information about their history, provenance, and ownership of products, increasing consumer confidence and enabling them to make more informed purchasing decisions.
  • Luxury goods: DLP authenticates the provenance of luxury goods, such as high-end watches and jewellery, helping to reduce the risk of counterfeiting and fraud.

More information about the DLP technology, market potential, and relevant use cases will be shared by XYMBOT experts in future articles.

Any questions, suggestions, or comments you can contact us by email, phone, or using our social media channels!

Best wishes for 2023!!!
